We'll just come right out and say it: Unmechanical is gorgeous.

From the first moment we clapped eyes on this student project from Talawa Games and Teotl Studies, we were in love.

Whether you're eyeing up the beautifully rendered environments, or falling hopelessly in love with the cute-as-a-button robot protagonist, the Unreal-powered platform-puzzler is a joy to behold.

In an effort to show us just how far they've been able to push Apple's mobile hardware, the Unmechanical devs have released a batch of screenshots comparing the iOS version to the PC edition.

PC or not PC?

To put your platform perception skills to the test, we've posted four pairs of screenshots below of Unmechanical for iOS and PC.

The question is: can you tell the difference?

You've got until 5pm to submit your guesses below. The answers will appear in the comments section.

The PC is always going to outstrip anything when it comes to gaming.

I prefer gaming on my PC as it has proper controls, more involved games, better sound, better everything really. There's no comparison between PC and mobile. At all. Ever. Two different platforms and suited to different games (I can't imagine a Kairosoft game being as much fun on a PC and to be honest I'd expect much more from a PC game).

I've got an iPad, had an iPhone, have a Galaxy Nexus, XBox 360, 3DS and each is good for different things. But the PC blows everything out of the water when it comes to games.

I would've agreed as well. Even though they are so close to each other, the PC shots have that slight edge in lighting detail. Pretty impressive though for a tablet... and hopefully soon-to-be iPhone 5! I hardly even game on my PC anymore because I'd rather be gaming on my porch while piping or at Starbucks.
