Retailer GAME has announced a limited time 3DS XL trade-in deal.
GAME is currently taking pre-orders for 3DS XL in blue, red and silver for £174.99.
Earlier today, Nintendo moved to allay concerns about the visual quality of games on 3DS XL.

And what with all the complaints about graphics looking blurry due to the larger screen, think I'll pass. There's no power unit with it either, plus the price is just comical. I only paid £115 for my 3DS (new) after selling my DS Lite for £60, so £55 for a 3DS is pretty good and will do.

And what happens to my GBA games if I do this?

I've been waiting to hear what trade in deals are happening.
I rarely take my 3DS out and about anyway, so i think i'll benefit from the bigger screen. Hopefully other shops will compete and offer a better trade in value. £80 though ain't bad at all though.

You can get £86-93 on trade at CEX so this is no big deal really. Although if Game are giving £95 for it on trade against the newer 3DS and promoting it like it's a deal of the year, it probably is by their diabolical trade in prices. You would be lucky to get £60-70 trading one aginst anythig else.
I can remember back last year not long after MW3 released, I asked how much Game were giving in cash for it and it was an insulting £15. At the time CEX were giving £28 cash or £32 trade. The only time it's worth considering trading with them is if they have a deal on.
If I see anyone trading their games at Game when I'm behind them in the que, I'll always tell them to go over the road to CEX and get at least 50% more trade or cash value. Most of the time people will take the advice and walk out, although some people just aren't bothered and just sell them to Game.

You buy a 2GB SD card for a few quid beforehand and swap it over with your current one, then you whack all your GBA games onto the XL.
I assume Gamestation will also be doing this deal then? Considering the GAME stores in my town closed down.

Damn you Nintendo!
lol
If you had released it two weeks ago I could have robbed a school kid, then it would only have cost me £80

Do you have to give them your 3DS charger?

Game give you £100 trade for your old machine and give you a new official charger for your new XL.
For people who have DLC on their old machine you can buy the XL take it home and transfer all your data then take your reciept and old 3ds instore and get the £100 paid back via the same method you paid for the XL with i.e if you paid cash the refund cash but you do need to take your reciept showing your purchase of the XL from Game

Why say that? they are giving you £100 trade + an official charger, it is a good deal and so far its the best out there against a new machine.
Honestly your final paragraph is one of the most pathetic things I have read on the internet and tbh I am surprised you have not been asked to leave your local yet
