Huge cast of industry elite star in game dev 'open documentary'

Thirty-seven games design and development luminaries are contributing to a new 'open documentary' project called Critial Path, a series of videos intended to look at developers as innovators and influencers of culture.

The likes of Nolan Bushnell, Ken Levine and Richard Hilleman will share their views on the art, philosophy, politics and psychology of video games, with their views expressed in an online archive found on http://criticalpathproject.com

The project, which essentially splits open documentary segments into bitesize interviews, has been in production for about two years.

A statement from Los Angeles entertainment group Artifact claims that user feedback will influence future interviews, "which will be added to the archive on an ongoing basis".
